Hello you!

I’m Claire, a British girl living in Hong Kong. I’m an English tutor and content creator who loves sharing their journey. I’ve lived in Hong Kong for over six years now so this blog is all about my experiences so far. Think of it like a little online Hong Kong bubble. I will be sharing my daily life, favourite food places, useful expat tips, travel ideas, day trips, life being self employed, and much more! I’m also hoping to share tips and tricks for other aspiring bloggers too!

When I’m not writing or creating content, I love visiting photography galleries, going for lovely dinners, walking along the harbour, wandering around the city, visiting cute parks, exploring new places and traveling around Asia.

“Gwei Mui” is Cantonese for “Ghost Girl” which is a name some Hong Kong locals call foreigners. I decided to use that name for my blog and socials and create my brand around being an expat in Hong Kong.
