Let’s be honest, this girl right here hasn’t hit up many 5* hotels in her life time but MAN this is about to change. After visiting The Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel in Hong Kong, I soon realised that the 5* luxury lifestyle is definitely for me and I better start earning some extra pennies to ensure I can visit this hotel many times again.
This hotel is absolutely incredible and I loved every second of my stay there. How could I not when I had panoramic ocean views overlooking the beautiful South China Sea?!
If you’re interested in booking your next staycation in Hong Kong then I’m about to tell you why it should be at The Fullerton Ocean Park hotel. Oh, and FYI, this post is not sponsored. I just loved it so much that I couldn’t help myself writing all about it.
The Room
Let’s start with the room. I booked the Ocean Front King Room which was insanely spacious with the most breathtaking view. I could even see the infinity pool from my room window. The room was super clean and had everything I needed. The decor was gorgeous and I felt like a queen staying here. My second favourite part (closely following the incredible view) was the large bath tub – much bigger than the one I have at home.
The Staff
In Hong Kong, the service can sometimes be a bit hit and miss. But the staff at The Fullerton Ocean Park hotel were definitely at a 5* standard. They were so lovely and welcoming and always served with a smile.
The Food
The Fullerton hotel has different restaurant options. In the evening, we checked out ‘Satay Inn’ where I ordered a Singapore curry. Again, the service was really great here and I enjoyed the food. The breakfast buffet was the highlight for me. Let me tell you, my plate was getting FILLED UP. They even had an egg station where I got an omelette with onion, pepper and ham. Absolutely YUM.
The Spa
Since I stayed at this hotel for a special occasion, I decided to book a massage at the spa. I booked a couples “Recovery massage” which is said to be the medium pressure massage. The spa treatment started with a consultation, followed by use of the facilities which was a steam room, sauna room and a lovely, spacious jacuzzi. I was the only one using the facilities at this time which was luxury! (An introverts dream)
I wished I could have used the facilities with my husband too, but it was split by gender as the facilities are located with the changing rooms. However, we joined together for the actual massage in the couples room which was really nice. The staff were so amazing and professional. After the massage was finished, my husband and I both looked at each other and agreed it was the BEST massage of our lives. Damn, I wish I was rich so I could frequently visit this spa. Ha. I’d go every week if I could.
By the end of this staycation, I felt refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. The final bonus of the trip was that the hotel has a regular shuttle bus that takes you directly to the MTR station. This was really helpful and made getting home much easier.
Fullerton Ocean Park Hotel…10/10 – I will definitely be back!
